Parent-Child Therapy

Parenting can feel overwhelming—especially when your child is struggling with behavior, anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma history, or a major life change.

PC-CARE is a short-term, structured therapy that provides parents with concrete, effective tools to support their child’s emotional and behavioral growth.

I am certified in PC-CARE through the UC-Davis PCIT Training Center.

This approach strengthens a child’s attachment to their parent while improving behavior and emotional regulation.

What makes PC-CARE so effective?

  • Shorter & More Accessible:

    • Unlike PCIT, which can take months and often leads to dropouts, PC-CARE is only 7 weeks, with a follow-up session afterward.

  • Targeted & Results-Driven:

    • We use questionnaires and progress tracking to measure real improvements. Parents often report significant positive changes by the end of treatment.

  • Healing Through Play:

    • One of my favorite things about PC-CARE is watching parents remember how to really play which helps them connect with their children meaningfully.

Through play, children grow and heal—and sometimes, parents do too.
